Counseling interns have completed graduate level schooling and are required to work 600 hours prior to applying for licensure. Under the direct supervision of a licensed practitioner, interns may diagnose and treat a variety of mental health conditions. Our internship program offers quality counseling for the uninsured at a decreased rate.

My name is Jenna VanSpronsen and I am currently finishing a graduate degree in marriage, couple, and family counseling at Western Michigan University. I have a BA in Family Studies and Sociology: Social Psychology. I believe that counseling supports us in finding healthy ways to grow through what we are going through. My name is Richelle Witbrodt and I am completing my Clinical Mental Health MA at Western Michigan University. I have a BA in Telecommunications from Michigan State University. I have worked with children and adolescents from diverse communities in a variety of settings. My name is Maryam Yahya and I am completing my last two-semester in the MA program at Grand Rapids Theological Seminary, Cornerstone University. I have a Bachelor of Science with a concentration in Community Development from Central Michigan University. I have spent numerous years working in various settings assisting under-served populations in diverse communities. I’m honored to be able to walk alongside adolescents and families to listen and provide a space where each individual can be heard. My passion and focus are to work with you to identify problem areas towards positive change for a healthier lifestyle.

 

 

 

 

 

My name is Rosemary Cruz and I am currently working on completing my last two semesters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (MA) at Aquinas College. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Hispanic Studies. Previously, I’ve worked as a behavior technician, providing ABA therapy with children on the Autism Spectrum. While that continues to be a passion of mine, I am passionate about helping all clients find their voice, where they can have a safe place that allows them to be heard. Lastly, as bilingual speaker, I am able to provide services in Spanish.
